It’s awesome that this campground is free but there are only 3 designated campsites with fire pits and picnic tables.

When we got here the campsite next to the vault toilets was open but we chose to camp along the large parking area so we could be close to the river.

The parking area could easily hold a couple of RVs and the night we camped there a van and car camped next to us.

Caddis Flats Campground Review

While this free campground has a couple of really well made campsites, there are only 3.

Luckily the parking area is pretty nice to camp in and we were happy to be able to spend a few nights there.

You are right next to the main road no matter where you camp here and there is some noise from the occasional semi truck passing by.

The San Miguel River is really beautiful and there were a couple of people fishing while we were there.

We even had a little bit of service with Verizon using a cell phone booster. The AT&T phone got no service here.
