The Weize 12V 100Ah Bluetooth Lithium Battery
Today I will review a smart lithium battery from Weize, more specifically the Weize 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Bluetooth battery.

When we received it two weeks ago, we swapped our main battery out for the Weize in our Class C.
Since then, we have been using it like any boondocker would, pushing it to its limits to make sure it works as advertised.
Weize 12V 100Ah – Specifications & Features
Battery Cells
This battery uses high-quality LiFePO4 cells and includes low-temperature protection. If the internal temperature drops below freezing (32°F/0°C), the BMS will prevent charging to protect the cells from permanent damage.
Below are the safe charging and discharging temperatures.
- Charging Temp: 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C)
- Discharging Temp: -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C)
Ratings – Ampere hours (amp hours) and watt-hours
The battery is rated at 100Ah, providing a total of 1280Wh.
It supports a maximum continuous discharge of 100A, making it powerful enough for powering most standard RV appliances and electronics.
I tested the limits by connecting an inverter and a heat gun. It worked with no issues up to 110A, anything higher than that and the BMS would turn off the output.
The BMS reset and allowed output again after about 30 seconds. I tested this several times with the same results.
Safety features with built-in BMS
The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) is the brain of the battery, protecting against overcharging/over-discharging, over-current, short circuits, high and low temperature cut-offs.
Smart Connectivity (Bluetooth)
The standout feature of this model is the built-in Bluetooth technology. By using an app on your smartphone, you can monitor real-time performance, including state of charge (SoC), voltage, and internal temperature.
It’s not an app created by Weize, but by DGJBD, the manufacturer of the BMS used on this battery. The app is available on iOS and Android.
Since the app is connected via Bluetooth and not Wi-Fi, it’s not possible to monitor the battery remotely.
Cycle life
Weize states that this model can handle over 2,000 cycles at 100% Depth of Discharge (DOD), and up to 8,000 cycles at lower discharge levels like 50%. This significantly outlasts traditional lead-acid batteries.
Expandability
The Weize battery supports a 4S4P battery system, which means you can wire up to 16 batteries together in total.
Design and what’s included
The case appears to be made of ABS plastic, and it has an IP65 rating, which means it can handle light rain and dust.
The battery has a nice foldable handle on top, which makes it easy to carry and transport.
Two bolts are included.
Size and weight
It’s in a Group 24 battery case, and it only weighs 23.15 lbs (10.5 kg).
A similar 100Ah 12V AGM battery weighs over 60 pounds (27kg), so there is a significant difference that can matter a lot on the road.
What I Like
Integrated Bluetooth Monitoring
Not having to guess your battery’s state of charge is a massive benefit. I also found it useful when using the battery with an inverter, since it lets me monitor to make sure I don’t exceed the 100A discharge limit.
The app is intuitive and provides all the data you need at a glance. It’s not the most beautiful app, but it works.
The Warranty
Weize offers a 10-year warranty on this battery, which is more than most I have seen.
Significant Weight Savings
It has been said before and will be said again, but at roughly 23 lbs, it is nearly 40 lbs lighter than a comparable 100Ah AGM battery. For RVers and boaters, every pound saved helps with fuel efficiency and tongue weight.
What I Don’t Like
No Built-in Heating
While it has low-temperature protection (it stops itself from charging in the cold), it does not have internal heating.
If you plan to charge it in sub-freezing weather, you’ll need to keep the battery in a heated space or use an external heating pad.
This isn’t something that matters if you live or only camp in warm weather.
Terminal Nut Length
The terminal battery nuts were not long enough for three wires (RV, charge controller, inverter), so we had to use different ones.
It’s the first battery I have reviewed where this has been an issue, but it’s an easy fix.
Conclusion
The Weize 12V 100Ah Lithium Bluetooth battery is a great choice if you are tight on space but don’t want to sacrifice smart features. Its compact size and long warranty make it an excellent option for anyone looking to upgrade from lead-acid to lithium.
Just remember to make sure the converter/charger in your RV supports lithium, so it will charge the battery safely.
