Why We’re Vlogging

We’ve been full-timing in our travel trailer for almost a year now and each day has brought new experiences and challenges.

Filming our adventures wasn’t part of our plan when we started out but people we’ve met on the road have been asking us if we had a youtube channel and how they could follow our travels.

Recently, we’ve started to get more comfortable with the idea now that we’re finally starting to get the hang of traveling and living in an RV.

We will do our best to bring you along on some of our adventures and show life in a travel trailer including things like finding free camping, cooking, and repairs.

Hopefully, each video will show why we enjoy traveling and camping full time and, with any luck, inspire others to get out there and start experiencing everything the great outdoors has to offer as well.

We’ve Never Seen A State Capital So Empty – Vlog #1

We’re starting our first Vlog by showing our amazing free campsite at Goose Bay which is located on the east side of Canyon Ferry Lake in Montana.

We then visit nearby Helena, the state capital of Montana on a beautiful rainy day. The city was surprisingly empty due to the rain and Covid-19. We were able to get some excellent BBQ from Bad Betty’s for lunch and explore the historic parts of Helena.

Afterward, we celebrate Swedish Midsummer in honor of Jessie’s homeland by cooking some Swedish meatballs, lil’ smokies, and having some caviar from Ikea.

It’s just a small glimpse of what life is like when you’re a full-time RVer. We hope you enjoy this little piece of our travels.
