If you need an inexpensive place to get full-hookups the Lake Van RV Park is an excellent choice. It’s small but you’re close to town and there’s a lake.
The Brown Springs Campground is on BLM land. It’s not only free but very well made. There are 10 campsites in total with lots of amenities in a beautiful area.
Escalante Canyon Road is a large recreation area with free camping along the road. There’s lots of hiking and mountain biking but few real campsites.
The Rabbit Valley Camping Areas is a free campground in Colorado near the Utah border. It’s accessible to RVs of all sizes and the sites are clean & well made.
This free camping area is a great place to stop on your way to Salt Lake City Utah or Arches National Park. There’s a rest stop nearby and great cell reception.
